Speaker– GM Sterling Chase- DuMyon Martial arts- He spoke about the history of Dumyon, what they do in training those with IDD, the affiliations they have and the competitions they are involved in. He discussed the new toastmasters club with a  focus on improving confidence and public speaking.

Upcoming Dance– Oct 29^th 11-1 at Hillside community center- Mary Anne will be bringing chips/ Sabrina – water- We have over 240 RSVPs so we discussed the possibility of splitting the cost of pizza with ACC- Carol will talk to Rebecca at Kaaum to help with cost.

Financial report– $338.15 current account balance

Agency updates- 

• Arc PPR dance Oct 31 6-9 pm $5 tickets on sale/ They also have a bilingual advocate who announced programs for families
• Spec Olympics- registration is still open for winter sports
• Disability Connections- painting with coco’s creations fundraising event Oct 26 from 2-4 pm
• ACC- Trunk or treat Oct 31^st 11-3 pm
• Kaaum- just celebrated 10 year anniversary- Kevin Cameron and Andrea introduced themselves as Community outreach team
• Widefield SD3 – upcoming resource agency fair coming up Nov 14^th
• Independence Center will be an open polling place from Nov 1-5
