Speakers:
ElPaso Colorado Maternal and Child Health Program formerly CHP. Diana and Rain- They provide resource navigation and care coordination for families. Serving ages 0-21. They are a community voice and have collaborative meetings virtually and on location from 11:30-1 dates for 2025: 2/18, 5/20, 8/19, 11/18, Projects with grant funding: transition to adulthood and emergency preparedness. Dungarvin – Mary Anne Cooper. Thank you for all the swag that your agency hands out. Mary talked about the various programs they offer: Residential, independent living, foster care, SLS day programs.
Agency updates and announcements:
DuMyon martial arts- Toastmasters trustability program meetings 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month.
Disability Connections Painting with Coco’s creations Feb 15th 2-4 pm. Open to all ages and all abilities $10 donation requested
Dance- Next on Feb 11 from 11-1 at Hillside Community center. Pizza- Kaaum (contact Jamal)
ACC- will provide chips, Dungarvin- cookies, Nicole -water- Carol – music
It was voted on to limit the # of attendees to 11th grade- age 21
Resource fair-
April 17th set up 4 pm event 5-7 pm at Hillside Community Center
Nicole will be delegating committees and attach action items
Marketing- Carol will have the flyer done asap. PSA will be distributed. It was decided that there will be no breakout speakers this year.
Budget – PPITT has 0$ in account. The Arc will be covering monthly expenses until the fair. 2 grant applications have been submitted. # of pizzas will be decreased for the fair. We will save costs of printing directories by having the districts print them out. It was also voted to increase the cost of the vendor tables to $60.
