The State Independent Living Council (SILC) has an opening for a Youth member:
There is an opening for a youth to become a volunteer SILC (State Independent Living Council) member.
Members meet four times a year in various Colorado locations. Travel expenses (including needed accommodations), hotel, meals, and misc. expenses are paid by the SILC. Members can also attend electronically if they cannot be at the meeting in person.
All new members serve up to two three-year terms, receive a comprehensive orientation, and ongoing training. They also have the opportunity to attend national conferences every couple of years.
For more information or an application, feel free to contact the SILC Coordinator via E-mail at coordinator@coloradosilc.org<m
