Help Us Spread the Word: SKSF Upcoming events

We would appreciate it if you could place this event on your Community Calendar (online or print) or post at your place of business.  SKSF is a non-profit 501c3 organization that has several programs in place to support children and adults with disabilities.    We thank you for allowing us to submit this important event information to help raise awareness about our organization and raise funds for our Zach’ Place program for kids with disabilities.

$1.00 from every pint sold will be donated to SKSF.

9TH ANNUAL BOWL-A-THON

Saturday, March 10th: 2:00pm-5:00pm

King Pin Lanes; 3410 Academy Blvd,  CO Springs

Teams are formed & bowlers participate in drawing and contest prizes awarded; $30/person; $15/child; includes 2 games, shoe rental, goodie bag. Online to register.

PARENT’S NIGHT OUT

Giving parents an opportunity to take a well deserved break. Kids will enjoy a fun themed night (Super Heroes) with exciting activities. $10/child; ages 3-21 RSVP required (719) 329-1717.

 

QMAP TRAINING

Friday, January 19th: 8:00am-4:00pm

SKSF Adult Services; 3450 N Nevada Avenue, CO Springs

SKSF is a CO Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) Approved Training Entity and offers courses monthly for Support Staff and Host Home Providers caring for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC  $65/person; Online registration required.

 

SIBSHOPS

Saturday, January 27th: 3pm-5pm

SKSF Adult Services; 3450 N Nevada Avenue, CO Springs

Providing peer support to siblings of kids with special needs. Encouraging fun activities and socialization. $15/child; K-6th grade. RSVP required (719) 447-8983.
